Linda D (Burgess) Quinn of Johnston formerly of Pawtucket passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on March 14. Linda fought cancer bravely these last three years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and nurse and her tenacity, love, laughter and sense of humor will be missed. She leaves behind her husband of 45 years Michael, her son Michael and his wife Lee-Ann, her son Jason and his wife Lauren, her six grandchildren Zachary, Samantha, Allison, Alivia, Camden, and Colten. She also leaves behind her brother William and his wife Sandy and three nieces and one nephew. She is pre-deceased by her parents William and Meredith (Binford) Burgess.
Linda was a devoted nurse for approximately 33 years working for many years on the Orthopedic Unit at Rhode Island Hospital
before entering home-care where she really found her calling, Linda was wholly devoted to her patients and she brought her quick wit, and smile to each and every visit. Linda was devoted to her family and never avoided an opportunity to brag about her children
and grand children whom she loved so much. She was a fierce and devoted friend too many and we all will miss her.
Limited Visitation not to exceed 25 patient attendees at a time will be held Tuesday, March 17th from 4pm until 7pm or until need be in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial private. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts to MDA (mda.org)
